At home with Sabine & Louella

The past 2.5 years at home with our daughters have been the highlight of my life. I’ve been incredibly fortunate that I have been able to spend every day as their primary caregiver.

These photos were taken by Paige back in May. Since she came to visit, Louella’s vocabulary has exploded and Sabine has started walking (running) everywhere, keeping up with big sister. Their bond is deep, gentle, playful and loving. During meals, Louella wants to be as close to baby sister as possible so she can help feed her (though Sabine loves to explore her plate alone, she never passes up a helping from sister’s spoon).

Although I have always been working away in the background of Christoph Real Estate Group, I did shelf my license to focus mostly on day to day life around the house. There are aspects of my working life that I miss. So, come fall I will be returning in a part time role in the team. Clients will see my face more often (as opposed to the past couple of years, where I have been mostly behind a screen from the comfort of my couch, during the girls’s naps!).

Come fall, I will be working in the office 2-3 days a week and holding my license once more! This means I can once again write contracts, show homes, attend inspections and give professional advice and commentary. I will still make the marketing and client relationships my number one focus. Every minute will be precious to me while I work, as it’s time spent away from my children and time in short supply.
