February e-Newsletter
We hope this message reaches you well! If there was ever a time for reflection, it's entering a new decade.
Watching our girls grow and develop in 2019 was been incredibly rewarding. We spent the whole spring and summer staying local. Lots of memories were made, first words, first steps and watching a loving sibling bond blossom between our girls. Autumn was full of pumpkin patch visits (Louella is a Halloween fanatic, we had been watching Halloween cartoons since the year previous!), lots of sunshine beach walks and fireside chats. And a very busy selling season! We are very proud of the business that we've built these past 7 years and are pleased to say this was our most successful year yet. Over 90 keys handed over in 2019!
This is a deeply personal business, one with many of life's transitions and changes, some hard, some exciting. We never take for granted the trust placed in us to make for a smooth transaction with the client's best interest at the heart of it. From a recent seller client: "Selling a family home is a big deal. Selling one that's been in the family for 65 years is monumental. Jake was very attentive to our Mother's situation and gave us some very solid advice to make this process as easy and straight forward as possible. My brother and I highly recommend Jake and his team."
This year we were proud to call two quality builders 'Clients'. We created a page for each of them on our website to showcase their work. Please have a look at Comox Builders and Halo Homes. We had the pleasure of selling out Halo Homes inventory on Dakota. They'll now focus on custom homes. Meanwhile, we have two beautiful homes finished and ready for occupancy by Comox Builders on Crown Isle Boulevard. Check out the rancher with walk out and two storey across the street.
Jasmen is officially back at work, having spent December arranging to reinstate her real estate license, so expect to see and hear from her more moving forward.
We were ALSO shocked and honoured to be informed that we won the Comox Valley Record's Readers' Choice award for both Realtor and Realtor Team. Thank you to everyone who sent a vote our way. We can't tell you what it means to us. Our clients are truly the very best!
At the end of 2020 we called on the public to join us in our Habitat for Humanity Matching Campaign. As with last year, Daryl Robbins joined us, and we are happy to welcome Fresh Coasts Investments (Aaron Bellmore) to our team. Together we matched donations up to $7500. The community truly rallied around this cause, helping us raise $24,731!
It was a true joy to attend the key ceremony for FOUR hard working and deserving local families at the Lake Trail Project in Dember.
Now onto the market stats!
